Internet research: The "Corporation" and the War in Iraq

The idea of the "Corporation" as it was presented in the movie “The Corporation” was quite eye opening. As a lot of people know that a corporation is really legally a person now and has the same laws and responsibilities assigned to it. It was interesting to see how the people of the corporations are now working to avoid almost any kind of responsibility. There is a very diversified idea of what a corporation should do and how they should function on the Internet. There are still the dominating forces like Microsoft, IBM, Nike, Google, and other large commercial and retail players like Wal-Mart that direct what we see and what information we receive. It is interesting to see how each company goes about its movements and actions. I think the best one for being behind the scene is Google. They have gathered the largest amount of information on the planet and have it archived for our convenience. Other large corporations like Microsoft have gather a very large amount of data that most everyone feels should not fall into the wrong hands. I would ask, Are the corporations protecting us better nowadays that what was done 50 years ago?

The Iraq War on Terrorism. If my understanding was correct, we were to do our research and have it be included in our blog group project. So my blogs on that sight included my research and findings.
