Recap: This article goes into existence of girls and women in our society. She shows how the development of the female psyche is molded by our advertising and how they are treated growing up. Even with our society now, we still push women to be the submissive.

Comments: Women in our society suffer great injustices from all sorts of directions. This article focuses on the advertising directed at both male and female subjects in how it plays to both sides to make the woman the submissive. Women have been exploited for years and even now, they still are exploited by just about every advertising agency. I would say, they are exploited by all advertising companies, since the market has been put in place and we as a society have done nothing to try and correct it. Until something is, done women will continue to play the submissive role even if they don’t want to. Women can feel important but will have a long uphill battle to wage still as we move along in the 21st century.
